Cash In On Perks “aka” Scat was purchased from Cheryl and John Laws

November of 2005, the end of Scat’s futurity year.

Cheryl kept Scat and finished his futurity year at Oklahoma

City BFA World Championships. Corey first run on Scat was 2005 New

Years weekend. The following weekend Corey won his first top 3 check

on Scat and never looked back! 2006 and 2007 were very exciting years for

Corey and Scat winning many barrel races and averages.

Despite Corey and Scat’s year ending in August when Corey went away to college. Corey was still the leading divisional money earner for 2007. In 2009 Scat suffered a life

threatening injury. For 45 day it was day by day but he has such fight

and heart he lived! We were just so happy to be able to bring him home

to live out his life. We never thought he would run again but by early

summer 2010 Scat was sound again.

Scat came back to win barrel races again.

Scat was our “Miracle”

On June 21, 2012 Scat was injured in a freak barn accident and we lost him on

June 22,2012
