History

In 2000 at the age of eleven, Corey Breedlove hung up his bat, ball and glove and started riding his cousin’s borrowed pony at the local saddle club. As the old saying goes

"THE REST IS HISTORY”

-Corey won his first buckle later in 2000 on his first pony “Smokey.”

-Corey’s won 2 saddles in 2001 riding his first horse “Tiny’s Baby Bug”

-2001 Tennessee NBHA State Show Youth 1-D Champion

-2001 Sundowner Classic Open 1-D Champion

Over the next decade we have had the privilege of owning and riding some of the country’s top barrel horses competing and winning in open, youth and futurity events. Corey’s saddle collection has grown to 30 plus along with several trailers won on various horses and World Champion Titles.

In November 2005 we purchased Cash In On Perks aka "Scat" as a 4 yr. old and January 2006 purchased Sheza Easy Runaway aka "Ellie" as a 2 yr. old. During 2006 Corey competed on Cash In On Perks in youth and open events. Broke and started Sheza Easy Runaway on the barrels. As a last minute decision we entered Scat in the Oklahoma City Derby and Ellie in the Juvenile Futurity. That was it, Corey was bitten by the futurity bug.

2007 was an exciting year for Cash In On Perks and Sheza Easy Runaway.

Just to mention a few wins

-2007 Silver Cup Derby Champion (Cash In On Perks)

-2007 Silver and Gold Cup Non-Pro Futurity 4 Star Trailer (Sheza Easy Runaway)

-2007 NBHA Teen 1-D World Champion (Cash In On Perks)

Corey discovered a new passion for the young horses bringing Scat and Ellie from the futurity ranks to winning derby and open horses.

2007 Corey graduated from High School and began his freshman year at Tennessee Technology University in Cookeville, TN majoring in Civil Engineering. The demands that a Civil Engineering major placed on Corey it was impossible to travel and attend barrel races during the school year. Not wanting to completely give up barrel racing we decided to start raising foals from our proven 1-D barrel mares..

Present

We are standing a Breedlove Quarter Horse breed and born  KICKIN TA FAME (DASH TA FAME/SHEZA EASY RUNAWAY)

Kickin Ta Fame aka KIX  is the son of Dash Ta Fame and Sheza Easy Runaway.  Sheza Easy Runaway aka Ellie, is one of our 1-D mares.

Corey started Ellie as a 2 year and  rode her until 2018 retirement.
